New Initiatives

Rural Library

The Foundation wants to create a reading facility, which is open to the local population in non-school hours. The library shall inculcate and sustain reading habits among the literate population. The books will range from Indian literature, history, English novels, and contemporary rural businesses. We hope to establish a community based interaction and discussion clubs under this program as more villagers start visiting the library.

The library will also have a separate section maintaining books for children from poorer sections along with a reading room facility.

We welcome and invite donations to enrich our library and we seek volunteers to help create “reading clubs” in the village. Click for more (Link VOLUNTEERING)

e-Education

Sahaj International has a fully equipped computer lab, imparting standard computer education as prescribed under CBSE syllabus.

We plan to introduce basic e-Education curriculum for the children to provide a multi-media based teaching assistance. It shall become a great learning tool for training the teachers and students alike.

We have tied-up with an e-Education content provider and will be launching the course content at school starting with teacher training and subsequently launching it for the students.

We welcome volunteers to help us in running these e-Education training modules for the teachers in the village. Click for more (Link VOLUNTEERING)

Multi-media Education

At Sahaj International, we already have a multi-media lab for screening primary English and Hindi medium rhymes and other General Knowledge content. However, we need to further streamline the process and training the teachers on utilizing these tools to the fullest.

We welcome volunteers to help us in running these multi-media sessions effectively for the teachers and students in the village. Click for more (Link VOLUNTEERING)
